Researchers and educators are exploring how art can help bridge the gaps among soil scientists, students, and the public. One recent Vadose Zone Journal article encourages collaboration between artists and soil scientists. This cooperation can better serve public understanding of science and can enhance the practices of both the artists and scientists involved.
