ASA, CSSA, and SSSA have negotiated discounted rates for you at hotels within walking distance of the Salt Palace Convention Center in Salt Lake City, Utah.

For the Societies to ‘earmark’ enough of these discounted rooms for our Annual Meeting attendees to reserve, we had to sign a contract guaranteeing that a certain amount of our attendees will stay in these rooms (called the “block”). Your choice of hotel affects the Societies’ ability to negotiate future contracts and discounts and fulfill our contractual agreement with the hotels. Thus, we kindly ask that if you can, please choose to stay within the ASA, CSSA, and SSSA block. All reservations must be received by October 20, 2025 to guarantee availability and the listed discounted rates.

All amenity availabilities and hours of operation should be confirmed with the hotel directly. Most hotels no longer provide daily housekeeping. Please inquire at check-in regarding the current schedule/process and hours of outlet operation.

Need to Reserve 10 or more rooms for your group?
Confirmation and instructions for your room block assignment will be sent within 7-10 business days. The last day to submit a room block request is October 2, 2025.

Orchid Events is the only official housing company for this event and will not contact you directly to make a reservation. Booking through ASA, CSSA, SSSA’s official housing provider, Orchid Events, ensures you will be working with a reputable company, that your credit card information is secure, and that you will benefit from all services provided to conference attendees at the official hotels including shuttle transportation to the convention center.

Sham housing companies are approaching ASA, CSSA, SSSA members and exhibitors with fraudulent offerings of hotel rooms at significant discounts. Lured by highly attractive rates, exhibitors and attendees fall prey to these imposters losing significant deposits, discovering hidden costs, upfront charges, or being bait and switched to hotel rooms they never booked.

If you are contacted by anyone asking if you need a room reservation for the 2024 ASA, CSSA, SSSA International Annual Meeting, or if they represent themselves as the “ASA, CSSA, SSSA housing provider,” please get as much information as you can, then contact Orchid Events.

Before October 5, 2025 - Cancellations and changes can be made without a fee online or by contacting Orchid Events.

On or After October 6 - Cancellations and changes can be made online or by contacting Orchid Events. Cancellations will be subject to a $40 fee.

On or After October 20 - Cancellations and changes must be made through the hotel. Cancellations will not be refunded the up-to two night’s room & tax deposit. 

If you do not show up on your expected arrival date, the hotel will charge a no-show fee equal to one night’s room and tax and cancel your reservation.

If you check out prior to your scheduled departure date, the hotel has the right to charge you an early departure fee. Early departure fees vary by hotel.

All reservation requests must be accompanied by a credit card guarantee or check equaling the amount of two night's room and tax for each room reserved. Your credit card will not be charged during this stage and is held as a deposit only.

Check deposits must be received no later than October 6, 2025.

You still earn hotel loyalty rewards points when booking in the official hotel block through Orchid Events.

Orchid Events will send reservation acknowledgements within 24 hours via email if booked online or by telephone. Fax and mail acknowledgements will be sent within 72 hours of receipt from info@cvent.com.

If you do not receive your acknowledgement in this time frame, contact Orchid Events. You will not receive written confirmation from the hotel.
