2026 SASES Spring Meeting

The Purdue University Agronomy Club at Purdue University will be hosting the 2026 Spring SASES Meeting on March 26-28. 

Dates & deadlines:

  • Event dates: March 26,- 28, 2026
  • Registration opens: Feb. 1, 2026
  • Registration closes: March 10, 2026

Registration fees:

  • SASES Members (undergraduate students & advisors): $75
  • Non-members: $115

Included in registration: meals, transportation for all tours, welcome bag

Additional add-ons: 

  • Tours
  • Crop contest (Sat. Mar, 28, 2026, 8 to 11 AM)
  • Soil contest (Sat. Mar. 28, 2026, 12 to 3 PM)
  • Purdue campus tours (Sat. Mar. 28, 2026, 3:30 to 5:30 PM)

Tours | all tours take place on Friday, Mar. 28, 2026 and have a maximum capacity of 50 (per tour). 

  • Tour 1: Producing for Consumers | Offers a glimpse into Indiana businesses that utilize agriculture to feed their communities in body and soul; from pizza and popcorn to whisky, meat, and more.
  • Tour 2: Seed, Science, and the Speedway |  Combines the best of Indiana agriculture and tourism from farm-grown meat and corn to soil & tissue testing; includes a visit to the Indy 500.
  • Tour 3: Growing the Future | With an emphasis on promoting a sustainable future through food and resources the tour includes businesses that work with seed retailers, buffalo ranching, animal nutrition, and metal recycling.
  • Tour 4: Living to Serve | Dives deep into Indiana agriculture that focuses on giving back and includes visits to consumer-centered beef and pork operations, precision Ag sales, corn seed, and grain storage facilities. 

Interested in becoming our next Spring Meeting host?

Schools interested and bidding to host the next Spring Meeting will submit their proposal online and will have the opportunity to discuss their bid with the National Officer Team via phone or video conference. Format will provide bid presenters up to 5 minutes to present the most compelling parts of their bid and up to 10 minutes for Q&A from the team.
