Offer Continuing Education Credits (CEUs)

cca-check-ceus

Every year, more than 13,000 Certified Crop Advisers (CCAs) in North America search for quality continuing education and earn an average total of 260,000 CEUs annually. CCAs specifically look for CCA “board-approved” educational CEUs and events.

By having your event approved as CCA CEU, your educational offering immediately stands out. Take advantage of the enhanced, free marketing that you receive by having your event peer reviewed for CCA CEUs.

Steps to completing a CEU application:

  1. Create an account.
  2. Obtain the necessary information for the application:

    • Session information; this is important if you are hosting different sub-meetings in the main event
    • Competency area and number of hours each session will last (duration of time)
    • Any supporting documents like agendas
  3. Use that information to fill out the applicationReviewers have 30 days to approve applications, so please submit your application at least 30 days in advance.
  4. Check your email for the confirmation message.
  5. If Approved: You will receive via email the attendee sign-in sheet(s) for your meeting. Attendees may sign in manually or use the QR code (included on sheet) for CEU credit validation. The QR code can be used by any attendee who has the CCA app installed on their phone.

CEU calendar

The Societies event calendar is open to the public, so anyone can look for upcoming Agronomy, Crop, or Soil events near them. They can also search for CEU-offering events, including in-person and online activities. When you fill out the CEU application you have the option to display your event on the calendar. If you change your mind after your application is submitted, you may submit a form for your event to show on the CEU calendar.
