About ASF

Big ideas are the seeds of progress. Ideas that feed our world and that save our planet. For 60 years, the Agronomic Science Foundation has nurtured the emerging scientists who protect our soil, water, and global food supply. In partnership with ASA, CSSA, and SSSA, ASF removes financial barriers for promising students and researchers through hands-on STEM education, undergraduate field competitions, scholarships, and travel grants. 

Over the past decade, ASF supporters have distributed more than $3.8 million across 3,275 awards to cultivate scientific leaders from the classroom to the global stage.
