Science at risk: How federal research cuts threaten agricultural policy

ASA, CSSA, and SSSA held a webinar on August 13 that focused on the impacts of recent and proposed budget cuts to the research arms of federal agencies. These changes have critical implications for science-based policy development, implementation, and the overall research capacity in agronomy, crop science, and soil science. Our panelists reviewed the state of the situation and how it has impacted them and their organizations from academic and private-sector positions.
