2021 election results announced

The 2021 ASA, CSSA, and SSSA elections for president-elect, division/section chair, and board representatives were completed in April—all offices begin on 1 Jan. 2022.

The following individuals were selected as the incoming president-elect of their Society:

ASA President-Elect

Joann K. Whalen, McGill University

CSSA President-Elect

Seth C. Murray, Texas A&M University

SSSA President-Elect

Carrie A. M. Laboski, University of Wisconsin–Madison

In addition, the CSSA bylaws vote was approved to change the name of the C-9 division from “Biomedical, Health Beneficial and Nutritionally Enhanced Plants” to “Crops for Nutrition and Health.”
