Interest in the meeting room was high as 10 video submissions (about four minutes each) were shown, followed by an additional four minutes of Q&A with the presenting author. Video messages were produced for research, extension, and classroom audiences. Four judges evaluated the videos based on adherence to guidelines, technical elements (e.g., video and audio quality, lighting, and non-distracting music), creativity, and impact (i.e., engaging the audience throughout). From l to r: Laura Thompson, Stirling Stewart, and Curtis Ransom were the top three winners of the “Share Your Science, by Video” session held at the 2019 Annual Meeting in San Antonio in November.
