We also understand that the cost of travel can be a barrier to attendance. With the help of generous donors and matching funds from the Agronomic Science Foundation, we are pleased to launch the Graduate Student Travel Scholarship. This is the first Society-wide scholarship organized by graduate students for graduate students.Scholarships are being awarded on a competitive basis. Applicants for the travel scholarship should submit an abstract for a first-author presentation at the Annual Meeting, demonstrate financial need to attend the meeting, and justify how attendance will benefit their careers.Applications are now open and will close on 9 June with the close of abstract submissions. Apply today at https://www.agronomy.org/awards/view/218!This is the inaugural year for this scholarship program, and the ACS Graduate Student Committee still needs support so it can become a permanent program!
