Welcome back to the Certified Crop Adviser Program

Rejoin without taking the exam

The Amnesty Program gives you an opportunity to reclaim your certification, no exam required. Whether you missed CEUs or didn’t renew, this is your chance to rejoin the CCA community and continue building your career.

We’re here to make it easy to re-capture the professional benefits that come with certification.

Why come back?

Being a Certified Crop Adviser keeps you connected to the latest agronomic knowledge, respected in the field, and supported by a strong professional network.

You’ve already proven yourself by passing rigorous exams. And you can pick up where you left off.

Are you eligible?

You are eligible to return as a CCA if your certification lapsed between two and five years ago. Additionally, you must have withdrawn voluntarily (not due to an ethics violation) and not have applied for amnesty in the past.

Not sure when you lapsed? Call the ICCA Madison office at 608-273-8085 to verify whether you are eligible.

Steps to re-certification

  • Complete our online application
  • Pay a fee equal to both the local/regional and international exam costs
  • Wait for board approval
  • Complete 50 CEUs within two years
