Congressional Visits Day Awards open through December 3

Scientists, students, and certified professionals are highly effective advocates for food, agriculture, and natural resources research funding. Each year, Congressional Visits Day (CVD) gives ASA, CSSA, and SSSA members an opportunity to engage with Capitol Hill and show the value of research funding. The next Congressional Visits Day will be held on Mar. 15–18, 2027 in Washington, D.C. Members interested in science advocacy can apply for the Congressional Visits Day Award. Selected participants will receive fully funded travel and lodging to attend.
