Ohio State University professor Dr. Laura Lindsey.

Ohio State University professor Dr. Laura Lindsey, a member of ASA, CSSA, and SSSA, has been awarded the university’s Faculty-to-Faculty Mentorship Award. This honor recognizes outstanding dedication to guiding, supporting, and elevating fellow faculty members within the Horticulture and Crop Science Department and beyond.

In addition to this vital mentorship role, Lindsey’s impactful extension and applied research efforts in soybean and small-grain crop management continue to provide direct benefits to local farming communities.

This award highlights Lindsey’s exceptional dual commitment to the agricultural community. Whether she is out in the field helping farmers optimize their soybean yields or guiding the next generation of faculty through the tenure process, her work leaves a lasting, positive impact on both the department and the broader agricultural industry.
