The Graduate Student Leadership Conference is now accepting submissions of interest through July 31, 2026. This is a professional development opportunity to enhance leadership skills through workshops, collaborative conversations, and networking with other graduate students and Society leaders immediately preceding the CANVAS meeting in Portland this fall. Learn more.The Graduate Student Leadership Conference provides opportunities to develop leadership skills through a dedicated itinerary including a communication workshop, professionalism, approaches to leadership, and networking skills. The conference also provides both structured and informal networking opportunities with other graduate students and Society leaders. Materials and lunch will be provided.Up to 96 students will be selected to participate. Applicants must be a current graduate student member of ASA, CSSA, or SSSA. Past Graduate Student Leadership Conference participants are not eligible. The conference is held immediately preceding CANVAS on Sunday, Nov. 1, 2026, from approximately 8:00 am–5:00 pm in Portland, OR. Submissions of interest must be submitted by July 31, 2026.
