Crops & Soils magazine is seeking a Central/Southern Great Plains Editor to join our board this year. If you are located in Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Colorado, or New Mexico and are passionate about getting the best research-based practices down to the farm level, this may be a great fit for you! Those early in their careers can gain valuable board experience. Those more tenured in their careers can give back to the profession. Crops & Soils reaches more than 13,000 readers, most of whom are Certified Crop Advisers (CCAs). By serving as the Central/Southern Great Plains Editor, you could have a huge potential impact on production in this region. Your role would be to come up with several story ideas each year that would serve CCAs and other practitioners in your region and provide feedback to magazine staff or answer technical questions from time to time.Persons interested in the position may nominate themselves or be nominated by an active member of ASA, CSSA, or SSSA or a CCA.
