ASA, CSSA, and SSSA joined 29 other stakeholder groups on a letter to USDA led by the Food and Agriculture Climate Alliance (FACA). The letter to Secretary Rollins requested USDA move forward with funding awards and announcements for key NRCS and Forest Service programs, including:

  • Advancing Markets for Producers (AMP) Program awards
  • Wood Innovation Grants (WIG) awards
  • Regional Conservation Partnership Program (RCPP) funding announcement
  • The new regenerative agriculture pilot program funding announcement

These programs reflect the USDA's focus on empowering producers to lead the way in conserving natural resources while keeping American agriculture strong and competitive.
