Call for papers: Agroecology and urban ecosystems special issue

We are pleased to announce a call for papers for a special issue on Agroecology and Urban Ecosystems to be published in the journal Urban Agriculture & Regional Food Systems. The special issue will focus on the intersection of agroecological practices and urban environments. This special issue aims to bring together cutting-edge research from early career researchers exploring the dynamic interplay between agroecology, urbanization, urban planning, urban ecology, and urban ecosystem services.

Topics of interest

We invite submissions that address, but are not limited to, the following topics:

Agroecology and Urbanization
Agroecological Transition
Urban Planning and Agroecology
Urban Ecology
Urban Ecosystem Services
Community Engagement and Policy

We particularly encourage submissions from early career researchers, including Ph.D. students, postdoctoral researchers, and early-stage faculty members; however, researchers at any career stage are welcome to submit.

Manuscripts should be submitted through the Urban Agriculture & Regional Food Systems ScholarOne submission portal.
