CSA News Magazine Transitioning to All-Digital Format in 2025

In 2025, CSA News magazine will be transitioning to an all‐digital format to better serve our readers and other stakeholders. We are currently building a new, user‐ and mobile‐friendly website that will be fully functional by Jan. 1, 2025 (stay tuned for more details). Thus, this issue and the next two will be the last in print.
While we understand that some may have a preference for print, we are expecting to provide a reader experience that checks all the boxes:
- More timely content: Submission‐to‐publish times of days vs. months.
- Regular updates: Websites updated weekly.
- Monthly email alerts: Issues delivered straight to your inbox.
- Mobile friendly: Sites designed with phone/tablet in mind.
- Fast discovery: Easy, intuitive navigation and robust search function.
- More videos/visuals: New tools to communicate complex information.
- No paywall/login: Letting the world know about our sciences, members.
- More context and information: Hyperlinked text to dig deeper.
- Reduced carbon footprint: More sustainable publishing.
If you have questions or comments, please send them news@sciencesocieties.org. We’ll be providing more details about this change in the coming months.
