The SSSA K‐12 Outreach Committee has you covered with turnkey materials for your use.Thanks to assistance from USDA‐NRCS, the K‐12 committee has developed an in‐service program (soils4teachers.org/inservice) with modules you can use for: Soil Basics, Soil Biology, Soil Chemistry, and Soils and Climate ChangeIn a recent webinar, K‐12 committee members Briana Wyatt, Jenn DeBruyn, Missy Holzer, Melanie Szulczewski, and Susan Chapman provided an overview of the in‐service program, the materials available, how to use them, and the contents for each of the modules. In addition, data collected on the effectiveness of the materials for teachers were highlighted.The 30‐minute session was recorded and is available at soils4teachers.org/inservice.Give it a listen and plan to visit a classroom or two!Text © .
