Calling all members: consider serving as a volunteer leader with our Divisions, Sections, Boards of Directors, or as a Society president. This is your opportunity to provide input and help set the future direction of our Societies!

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

The Societies are strongly committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI): please invite women, minorities, and other members of historically marginalized communities for all positions. New this year: ASA and CSSA are seeking members to serve on their boards of directors for the new DEI Member-At-Large position. Apply online by 30 November at: agronomy.org/awards and crops.org/awards.

Interested in serving or know someone who is? Submit candidate names (either self-nominations or by nominating a colleague) to CSSA/SSSA division chairs, ASA section chairs, or to your Society presidents: ASA—Dave Clay, Send Message; CSSA—Marilyn Warburton, Send Message; or SSSA—Ron Turco, Send Message.

Graduate student members interested in running for the graduate student board representative positions are encouraged to apply online by 30 November at: agronomy.org/awards, crops.org/awards, and soils.org/awards.

Nominating Committees will review and select the final candidates to run on the ballot for each office. The elections will take place in March 2023. All elected candidates will take office on 1 Jan. 2024.
