The 2021 Region IV Soil-Judging Contest was hosted by West Texas A&M University in Randall County, TX on 14 Oct. 2021. A total of 35 students participated in the contest, representing six institutions from the region, including the University of Arkansas, Oklahoma State University, Tarleton State University, Texas A&M University–Kingsville, Texas Tech University, and West Texas A&M University. The University of Arkansas finished first overall, followed by Tarleton State University in second, and Oklahoma State University in third. Four of the top five individuals were from the University of Arkansas: Lauren Gwaltney (first), Jonathan Brye (second), Katie Jansson (fourth), and Lilly Stults (fifth). The third-place individual was Austin Wildman from Tarleton State University.
