Do you work in the Corn Belt region? If so, Crops & Soils magazine wants to talk to you!Crops & Soils magazine is published by ASA and distributed to more than 16,000 readers, most of which are Certified Crop Advisers (CCAs). By serving as an Editor for this magazine, you could have a huge potential impact on acres across North America as ASA estimates that 60% of all production ag acres in the U.S. are influenced directly or indirectly by CCAs.Position DetailsThe editorial board consists of ASA members as well as CCAs. Each board member represents a region. The position is appointed by the ASA president for a three-year term, with eligibility for reappointment to subsequent three-year terms.Board members are expected to provide five or six stories or story ideas each year for the magazine.Board members can either recruit colleagues to write (preferred) or they can also ask the magazine staff to write an article.Time commitment is much less than serving on a journal board.How to ApplyIf you or someone you know is interested in this position, email Send Message.
