The Crop Protection Network (CPN) is pleased to announce a new online video educational series for CCAs, providing streamlined and easily accessible continuing education content through a new multimedia platform: CPN TV.

The Crop Protection Network was formed in 2015 by a small group of land grant university faculty to provide crop disease education to farmers and industry. Since that time, it has expanded to other crop protection disciplines and produces multiple types of outreach, including publications, web tools, videos, and podcasts. Nearly 200 specialists from more than 30 U.S. states and two Canadian provinces contribute to the network.

Today, the CPN is a multi‐state and international partnership of university, provincial Extension specialists, and public and private professionals that provides unbiased, research‐based disease and pest management information related to protecting alfalfa, corn, small grains, and soybean. The goal of CPN is to enhance the visibility and success of agricultural extension while providing important crop protection information.

The Crop Protection Network offers an expanding suite of tools for CCAs as well as a large library of crop disease and pest management research articles, encyclopedia shorts, and yield loss calculators designed specifically for CCAs, researchers, and agribusiness personnel. It also helps Extension specialists with crop pest management education efforts across the United States and into Canada. Outreach developed by CPN is widely applicable, and multiple experts contribute. It functions to help both the Extension worker and the farmers and agriculture industry that Extension serves.
