PORTLAND, Ore. — The world’s leading scientific societies for agronomy, crop, and soil science will convene thousands of researchers, professionals, and students at CANVAS 2026 to share the latest advancements shaping the future of science and agriculture.
Held November 1–4, 2026, at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland, CANVAS will feature thousands of scientific presentations and abstracts spanning disciplines that address some of the most pressing global challenges, including climate change, food security, and sustainable land management.
The meeting is hosted by the Madison, Wis.-based American Society of Agronomy, Crop Science Society of America, and Soil Science Society of America.
CANVAS 2026 will highlight the role of science in driving innovation, fostering collaboration, and building resilient systems for the future. Attendees will engage in sessions that showcase cutting-edge research, emerging technologies, and real-world applications across agronomy, crop science, and soil science.
“Our disciplines are at the center of some of the most important challenges facing our world,” said Societies CEO Jim Cudahy. “CANVAS creates a space where the scientific community can come together to share knowledge, strengthen connections, and move our work forward in meaningful ways.”
