Serve as a Club DelegateEach SASES Club, selects two Club Delegate, who will then be responsible for voting in the National Elections that take place at CANVAS each year. Clubs may outline their nomination procedures in selecting delegates, including dates, process, and requirements. Delegates need to be chosen prior to the election. Club Delegates must participate in the mandatory Delegate training that takes place at CANVAS (prior to the election, and often following the SASES Business Meeting). Training provides guidance on the election process and answers questions.In the event an officer position is not filled during the election, Club Delegates are expected to participate in virtual voting procedures after the conclusion of the meeting.As a SASES club delegate, it is crucial that you represent the interests of the full chapter when voting in SASES elections.
